Geothermal Steam
Hydrogen sulfide (H₂S), carbon dioxide (CO₂), and other impurities, along with trace metals, are often found in geothermal steam. Armstrong has solutions to handle toxic gases and address many of the requirements specific to resource/location or special precautions including environmental regulations involving the metering of non-condensable gas emissions.
Geothermal Brine
The issue of scaling and corrosion within a geothermal environment is resource/location-specific and for the most part is far more aggressive than in industrial environments due to the salts, silica, heavy metals, chlorides, calcium carbonates and other minerals (lithium++/ gold) contained in geothermal brine. As a result, the selection of materials and management of the brine extraction, use and reinjection system are critically important to ensuring the performance and longevity of your equipment.
